Meet the Pizzorno All-Stars

Six wines. Four generations. One family estate.

The Pizzorno All-Stars brings together six wines that show just how much range exists within one of Uruguay's defining family wineries. From bright, refreshing whites to carbonic Tannat, silky Pinot Noir, and a classic Reserva Tannat, each bottle reveals a different side of the Pizzorno family’s approach to wine.

Don Próspero Sauvignon Blanc

Crisp • Citrus-Driven • Refreshing

A bright, easy-drinking Sauvignon Blanc that introduces the fresh side of Pizzorno, with lively citrus, refreshing acidity, and a clean finish made for seafood, appetizers, and warm afternoons.

Mayúsculas Albariño

Fresh • Aromatic • Vibrant

Uruguay's signature white through Pizzorno's more adventurous Mayúsculas lens—bright citrus and stone fruit meet lively acidity for an energetic, food-friendly Albariño.

Mayúsculas Tannat Carbónica

Juicy • Chillable • Unexpected

Tannat completely reimagined. Carbonic maceration turns Uruguay's famously structured grape into a fresh, juicy red bursting with fruit and designed to be enjoyed young—even slightly chilled.

Pizzorno Pinot Noir Reserva

Silky • Red-Fruited • Elegant

A graceful expression of Pinot Noir built around red berries, polished texture, and balanced oak, showing the lighter and more refined side of Pizzorno's red-wine portfolio.

Don Próspero Tannat / Malbec

Smooth • Fruit-Forward • Approachable

A welcoming introduction to Tannat, with Malbec adding roundness and ripe fruit to Tannat's natural structure for a versatile red that's equally comfortable with pizza, pasta, or the grill.

Pizzorno Tannat Reserva

Bold • Structured • Classic

The collection finishes where Uruguay's red-wine story begins: Tannat. Dark fruit, spice, integrated oak, and firm structure make this the classic, cellar-worthy expression of Pizzorno's four generations of experience with Uruguay's flagship grape.

One Family. Six Expressions.

Together, the six bottles tell a much bigger story than any one wine could. Don Próspero shows Pizzorno's approachable, everyday side. Mayúsculas reveals the family's willingness to experiment and rethink familiar grapes. And the Reserva wines demonstrate the depth, precision, and tradition behind the estate.

For someone meeting Pizzorno for the first time, this is exactly where we'd start.

"“We’ve spent time with Carlos and Francisco Pizzorno, and what I love about this collection is how much of the family’s personality comes through in the wines. Some are traditional, some are playful, but together they’re a wonderful way to meet Pizzorno.”"

About This Wine

Where does this wine come from?

Pizzorno Family Estates, Canelón Chico, Canelones, Uruguay. Nestled in the heart of Canelón Chico, Pizzorno Family Estates has been farming the same land for four generations. The vineyards benefit from Canelones' temperate climate, cooling Atlantic breezes, and clay-rich soils that naturally balance ripeness with freshness. Every vine is estate-grown and carefully tended by the Pizzorno family, resulting in wines that express both the character of the vineyard and the heritage of one of Uruguay's most respected family wineries.

Who makes this wine?

Carlos Pizzorno

Carlos Pizzorno is one of the pioneers of modern Uruguayan wine and has spent decades helping establish Pizzorno Family Estates as one of the country's benchmark producers. Today, he works alongside his children, Francisco and María José Pizzorno, who represent the fourth generation of the family. Together they combine generations of experience with a spirit of innovation, continuing to elevate the estate while remaining deeply committed to their family vineyards in Canelones.

Why did we choose this wine?

We created the Pizzorno All-Stars because no single bottle tells the whole Pizzorno story. This six-bottle collection brings together the wines we think best showcase the family’s range—from fresh Albariño and Sauvignon Blanc to carbonic Tannat, elegant Pinot Noir, and classic Reserva Tannat. It’s our favorite way to meet one of Uruguay’s defining family wineries.

Can you ship to my state?

We ship to 42 States. We do not ship to UT, LA, MS, KY, HI, DE, PA, AK
