Style Snapshot

A vibrant Atlantic-influenced Albariño with bright citrus, floral aromatics, and refreshing acidity

Mayúsculas Albariño represents the fresh, youthful spirit of modern Uruguay. Part of the Mayúsculas collection from Pizzorno Family Estates, it was created to showcase a more contemporary expression of one of the world's most exciting white grape varieties. Inspired by the Atlantic influence that defines Uruguay's coastal climate, this wine embraces freshness, energy, and simplicity without sacrificing character.

Sourced from the Don José vineyard in Canelones, the wine reflects the cooling influence of the Río de la Plata and the fertile clay-limestone soils that have made the region one of Uruguay's most important wine-growing areas. Crafted by Marcelo Laitano, the focus is on preserving purity and aromatic expression through stainless steel fermentation and minimal intervention. The result is a wine that feels bright, honest, and unmistakably alive.

Pale yellow with green reflections, the nose opens with aromas of grapefruit, lime, and delicate white flowers. On the palate, vibrant citrus is joined by hints of tropical fruit, creating a wine that is crisp, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. Whether enjoyed with seafood, fresh cheeses, or simply shared with friends outdoors, Mayúsculas Albariño captures the easygoing spirit of coastal Uruguay.

This is the wine you open when the sun is out and the day feels full of possibility.
