Description
From the Atlantic-moderated hills of Maldonado, this 2023 Marselan (a cross of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache) shows off Uruguay’s coastal terroir with both finesse and expression. The wine opens with fruit-forward aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and cassis, layered with herbal lifted notes like dried herbs and eucalyptus, plus a touch of clove and peppercorn. On the palate, it’s smooth and balanced, marked by medium acidity, juicy dark berries, fine tannin structure, and a long, vivid finish.
