Description
CAVANI WINES Premium Blend
Some wines showcase a grape. Others showcase a philosophy.
The Cavani Premium Blend was created as the ultimate expression of collaboration—bringing together Uruguay's signature varieties into a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. Co-created by Edinson Cavani and crafted alongside the Carrau family, this blend reflects the authenticity, pride, and craftsmanship that define both Uruguay and the Cavani project.
Sourced from Las Violetas in Canelones, one of Uruguay's most respected wine regions, the wine combines the structure of Tannat, the elegance of Cabernet Franc, and the depth of Cabernet Sauvignon. Each variety is vinified separately before spending more than eighteen months in French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional year of bottle aging before release. The result is a wine of remarkable harmony, complexity, and balance.
In the glass, aromas of red fruit, plum, quince, and violet unfold alongside notes of black pepper, tobacco, and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and layered, supported by mature tannins and vibrant freshness that carry through a long, persistent finish. Powerful without excess and refined without restraint, it captures the character of Uruguay through the art of blending.
More than a red blend, it is a celebration of Uruguay's winemaking heritage, bringing together multiple varieties, traditions, and generations into a single bottle.
