Tannat has become Uruguay's signature grape, admired around the world for its structure, character, and ability to express place. The Cavani Premium Tannat was created as a tribute to that identity—a wine that reflects the passion, authenticity, and pride that define both Uruguay and the Cavani project itself.
Co-created by Edinson Cavani alongside respected Uruguayan wine professionals, this wine draws from vineyards in Las Violetas, Canelones, one of Uruguay's most important wine-growing regions. Influenced by the Río de la Plata and Atlantic Ocean, the vineyards produce fruit of exceptional concentration while maintaining freshness and balance.
In the glass, aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and sweet spice unfold alongside hints of dark chocolate and tobacco. The palate is rich and structured, yet remarkably polished, with firm but integrated tannins carrying the wine through a long and memorable finish. This is Tannat at its most complete—bold enough for a special occasion, balanced enough to share around the table.
